With a past in the project Schultz and Forever, Jonathan Schultz has been a recognizable name on the Danish indie scene for almost 10 years. In his own words, "I took a step back from Schultz and Forever to work as a songwriter for other artists, but I slowly started to feel the urge to start all over as an artist".

Jonathan Schultz' upbringing in the very Christian Danish church society and his big break with Christianity in his late teens, has made Schultz create different perceptions of both life and art and this has been the main resonance on his earlier sound. In an older article, Danish media Soundvenue writes "It should come as no surprise that Jonathan Schultz is once again reinventing himself." - Reinventing himself and seeing things differently is clearly right up Schultz's alley on several levels.

Now as he turned 27, Jonathan Schultz has landed softly and confidently in his pop heart - of the sound of the forthcoming material, Schultz says: "with this project I'm striving to make polished and heartfelt songs"
